My team and I at Rotten Mage are currently working on a side project while still porting our prior project, Spacejacked, to PS4 and Vita. While the new project is still pretty early in development, we've gotten it to the point where the gameplay is more or less functional and we can start showing it and get some much needed feedback. We present...
Fates and Constellations
That's the title we're going with for now. Said game is a puzzle game where you cut "rogue" constellations out of the night skies by splitting lines, like so:
How does it work?
For every puzzle presented in the form of a constellation, the player is given a limited number of splits. The idea is to split the line and cut the connections between the stars without actually touching the stars themselves. Bonus points if you touch the golden star though
A major part of the game is how exponentially complex it gets each time the player splits the lines. We intend to fully explore this by introducing some asymmetrical splitting patterns some time down the line.
There are still a lot to be done, feature-wise. The following are just some of the stuff we need to do:

Unscramble the tiles to reconnect the broken lines into closed rectangles. Each puzzle level is algorithmically generated on the fly - meaning you'll never solve the same puzzle twice even if you play the same level again. Need a hint? You earn a peek at a possible solution for each level solved without peeking. Earned peeks can also be used to restart the level partially solved. If you're stuck at a difficult level with no peeks remaining, you can go back to a prior level to earn more peeks or restart the level with a new puzzle. Finding the puzzles too easy? Adjust the difficulty by skipping levels. Every level has at least one solution and most will have many. The puzzles and solutions are infinite.

Escape: Close Call is an adrenaline pumping driving game which rewards near crashes with style points, encouraging risk and thrill seeking. Escape enemy vehicles increasing in difficulty while completing missions, maneuvering through the landscape, and earning coins to upgrade your vehicle with weapons.
Escape was originally created to be a tense game that's also addictive and goal oriented, and once a proof of concept video was made it was greenlit on Steam Greenlight in less than a week, reaching top 10 status out of all games on Steam Greenlight. It was released on Steam two months later, on the 24th of March, 2016, and has been getting regular updates since. A VR update was added, and more modes are being prototyped currently, including a multiplayer addon. And now it is coming to the App Store on iPad and iPhone!

Once a car has Escaped, you would still have 24 other cars to unlock and Escape as well!

Hi Touch Arcade people!
I'm announcing my first ever mobile game: Race Control Director. You guys are the first ones to know about this game. Touch Arcade is just as much my home as a gamer as you guys. The funny thing is, when I joined Touch Arcade, I didn't even know how to code yet! I joined Touch Arcade two years ago when I bought my first iPhone (I know.. I know..). Maby some of you know me as a member who posts something now and then. April this year I quit my university education and started to learn how to code iOS apps all by myself, with the help of some internet courses. I then coded a few apps for some festivals and eventually started with this project in September. So that's the background story of this game.
Some explanation about the game:
Race Control Director is a text based game where you act as a racing director. You make decisions based on events which are happening on the race track. You can deploy yellow flags, send out the safety car and if a driver is overtaking while yellow flags are being waved, you penalize them. The game is currently in the works and being developed by Fabian Bouwmeester.
Why arcade/simulation? The game is short session based and playable with one hand, although you have to know the rules of track racing. Such as when to deploy yellow flags or when someone needs to receive a penalty for inappropriate racing behaviour.
I'm planning to make the app paid without IAP. Also there is an option to edit all driver names, so seeing "Donkey Kong is overtaking like a madman!" is totally possible.

BETA:
The game is currently heavily being developed, so the beta isn't going to be ready anywhere soon. But since I've just announced this game, you will be able to sign up for the beta when it's ready. If you want to participate, go to the website and add your email address. NOTE: use the same email address as your Apple account! The beta will probably be available somewhere at the end of this year or somewhere in January. And please, only use the website to sign up. Do not post your email in this thread.

This games launch seems like a disaster!
Although I admit I was enjoying the game, so I brought the £5.99 starting pack items.. after hours and hours in I lose every thing my money my save everything

22cans kongregarte put up a fix update and in the patch notes stated very clearly it was fixed now.
Fair enough I thought I'd give it another shot! Guess what .. put hours of time in it re purchased the equipment.. managed to get to town..
And againAll vanished again .
Won't be doing it a third time. Shame as the game concept I enjoyed.
Touch arcade could you reach out to the devs for some sort of statement or apology on this as they seem to be ignoring everyone, through their own forums and emails.?
